Who is the wizard

The Wizard began adult life in the United States Marine Corps. After a stint in Iraq the Wizard returned home and moved to Georgia and took on life as a LEO. With over 25 years of experience with firearms and everyday carry at work or off time, the Wizard knows what works and how functionality is important.

The story directly from the “Wizard"

First, where does stay frosty come from? Some know, but for those that don't, stay frosty simple means, “keep your head on a swivel". This saying is widely used in the military, but it has a special meaning to me. A great man I served with and that took me under his wing as a young Marine used to say, “stay frosty' all the time, What I didn't realize, is that I would never get to hear those words again. RIP Gunny!

So I needed a name that meant something……….

Stay Frosty Holster Worx started in 2013 as Stay Frosty Blade Works. As a SWAT Breacher I wanted a pry tool to assist with opening “things". So, I got some scrap steel and made one. What was a personal need, turned into making them for others. Then custom knives came along, and with custom knives you need a sheath to put them in, BOOM Kydex thermoforming!

I tried my first crack at a holster….it wasn’t pretty. But over time I took a liking to my new hobby and started making holsters for people. In 2018 knife making got slow, but holsters were going strong, so I shut down knife making and focused on holster. Stay Frosty Holster Worx was born!

Years later I still enjoy bending plastic and creating functional holsters and gear. Holster Wizard and Holster Mechanic are what Ive been called, but Im just a dude who likes to make stuff for people that need it. With my background in firearms and an everyday gun toter I know what works and whats practical. Thats what goes into every holster that comes out of the shop!
